A few years ago Steve discovered his passion for BBQ and his wife Sande suggested they begin to enter barbecue contests on weekends. A short time later they were competing on a regular basis. Due to Steve's wonderful cooking, they enjoyed instant success. After winning several competitions, including a first place finish in the Regional Championship at the Redhook Brewery in Woodinville, WA. 3B's BBQ was invited to attend the 2003 Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational Cook-Off in Lynchburg, Tennessee. There they were awarded a 4th place in sauce a 7th in chicken and a 10th in dessert.
